Harbor breeze ceiling fan lighting fixture/no electricity
I'm installing a light fixture onto a harbor breeze ceiling fan. The fan works fine but the light fixture won't illuminate. I disconnected the fixture and noticed that the lines from the fan going to the light fixture doesn't have any electricity going to them. Any ideas?

The wire that supplies power to light fixture hot is usually a separate wire that goes from top through pipe and down to light switch(in switch housing), lightswitch to light hot.
Color is usually Blue or Black with white stripe.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. It turns out that whoever originally installed the ceiling fan figured that since there was no light fixture there was no need to hook-up the hot wire in the main fixture. Guess I should've disassembled the ceiling fan before I aked for help... my bad. Thanks though.
