    Tanning bad for teeth?
I was told in the beauty section in a tanning question, that is tanning (in a tanning bed) is bad for your teeth, that it accelerates the formation of cavities..? I don't know whether this is true.

I have said ever since they came out with them that I don't believe they are any safer than the sun and maybe even worse. But as long as you aren't lacking calcium and you have good dental hygiene I can't see why or how they would decay your teeth. I think that is the least of the problems with tanning beds.

I have NEVER heard that tanning beds accelerates tooth decay! Sugar and poor oral hygiene are the main causes of tooth decay.
