    Thermostat wiring
    Honeywell RTH4300B, I have only two wires red and black, when attached to the corresponding terminals the on/off manual switches the heat , however it is bypassing the thermostatic switching... any suggestions, THANKS!!

    One wire should go to Rh and the other to W
