    Getting a marriage annulled
I have been married for 2 months, I found out some things about him that if I had known I would not have married. Is there a time limit on getting an annulment?

First, you need to use separate terms.

Divorce is an act that legally breaks a marriage. More often than not, the Divorce has already been resolved before the Marriage Tribunal has even be presented the family situation.

Religious - "Annulment" is a religious degree that says that there was absent a mandated truth, that if it had been know to both parties may have prevented the Sacrament of Marriage,

Annulment by the church (Roman Catholic, in my case) says to the world we now hold that there as a serious flaw in the circumstances leading up to this sacrifice that would have prevented this sacrament form taking place.

Annulment, at least in the eyes of the Catholic Church, has nothing to do with the legality of the prior marriage, nor is it a statement that any children issued from the marriage are bastards. They are not now nor ever been treated as such. They are people who exist if for no other reason that they do exist. They are entitled to the best they can make of themselves, just like everyone else.

Please make an appointment with a Priest, Pastor, Rabbi and discuss your issues and concerns.

If you are not comfortable with your local pastor, step above him/her to a more neutral corner. If your pastor believes that your situation warrants referral, he would be the one responsible for that.

I'm sorry for your pain and suffering, but if telling you you are doing the correct thing in assembling information, then you are doing fine.

Actually there is a legal annulment in the court house, normally if you are married 90 days and less ( differes in places) and both parties will agree.
There is no divisioin of property, since it will be like the marriage never happened. You will need to check with the clerk at the courthouse.

A divorce would be needed if he will not agree or there is property to be divided.

And if you are catholic, then a bishop will have to review this and issue an annullment under their rules.
