Terminated and paid lesser amount then initially agreed upon
Okay, well here goes. I worked for a new company for not even a week. Since I had experience they offered me a certain amount of money. I was terminated for a rule I had broken that was never explained to me (which is besides the point). In order to receive my paycheck I was asked to come in to HR to turn in copies of my i.d.'s. When I showed up to the HR they had no file on me, and had misplaced everything, including my resume, application, everything. So, I was asked if I could please re-write all the papers that I had already filled, which included the initial agreement on my salary. Later when I received my paycheck for the time worked after doing the math I saw that they paid me a lesser amount per hour then I was told. I'm not sure how I could bring these people to justice and collect what is rightfully mine. It wasn't a significant amount but I just feel it's the principle behind it all, I shouldn't have my pay cut because some dope in HR misplaced my file with all the initial agreements and all other paper work filled out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is very much you can do if there is no proof that there was an agreement on your wage. Seems to me it was very fortuitious to the company to lose the information. You have to weigh your time trying to get it back vs the small difference you say it was if you need another job right away.
