Sweet, you are way too far along to have an abortion. It is now time to consider adoption.

Being "legal" and it being right are two different things, And of course from your other posts how far along are you really? And how hold are you.

Hun, this is a world wide website. We don't know about the doctors in your area. But, as a nurse, I can tell you that most places in the world, who are legitimate, will not do an abortion past the first trimester, that means past the first 12 weeks.

Look, everyone here is from a different place in the WORLD. Contact Planned Parenthood tomorrow morning. They can tell you what it is there.

The online information I can find seems to say that abortions in Halifax are done up to 15 weeks. So, if you are 17 weeks, it would appear you are past the cut off point, and will need to consider other options. Personally, I don't believe abortion should EVER be an option, regardless. Hope things go well for you and for your child.

Do you realize that you are about half way through your pregnancy? Please read this.. Pregnancy.org > Second Trimester Fetal Development - week 15 through week 28

Think about what you are doing before you try to go through with an abortion. Please consider adoption if you don't want to raise the child. You need to take responsibility for your actions in a mature way.

Believe me I support abortion, but not this far long in the pregnancy.

Think this over thoroughly, but don't concentrate on how others judge you for having the baby. Do what is right for the child.

I hope you make the right decision.

Please visit this site on information regarding abortion in weeks 16 and up.
Georgia Right To Life: Education >> Issues - Abortion
Here is how the abortion would be done:
This procedure is accomplished by injecting a salt solution into the amniotic sac. The baby breathes and swallows the solution and usually dies 1 to 2 hours later from salt poisoning, dehydration, hemorrhages of the brain and other organs, and convulsions. The baby's skin is often burned off by the salt solution. Then, about 24 to 48 hours later, the mother goes into labor and delivers a dead or dying baby.

Here are some risks to the mother:
Instillation Methods-Salt Poisoning: Salt poisoning is a chemical method used in the second trimester of pregnancy.

    Risks include:
Consumption coagulpathy (uncontrolled blood clotting throughout the body).
    Severe hemorrhaging.
    Seizures.
    Coma.
    Death.

Unfortunately I am afraid she will most likely find someone who will do the abortion.

It is a shame because at this point in time that baby she is carrying can see and hear as well as feel pain. It will feel the pain of the abortion. It will feel being ripped apart.

I too am for abortion under certain circumstances (mostly medical health reasons), but this is considered killing an innocent baby.

At this point and time the babies finger prints are even there, it is not just a growth to dispose of, it is a baby, take a look at a sonogram or onlines photos of how developed the baby is at this point, If is legally your choice toa point, but make it a informed choice, learn all the facts first.

And yes J9 there are those in the abortion industry, that care little for life, little for the law as far as that goes, here in the US, they don't ask for ages of the girls, fail to report minor girls as required by doctors by certain state laws, some groups have been know to even take minor girls across state lines without parents permission for abortoins.

And there is normally little info given them, to allow them to make a true informed choice,

I'm pro-choice too but come on. Halfway through the pregnancy and you're just now deciding you don't want it? Give it up for adoption.

She says that she has reasons she's not able to have the baby. Could be a medical reason why she can't. Let's not jump to conclusions.

Please put the baby up for adoption! That would be the most loving thing for the baby. Please don't have an abortion.

Here I am working my butt off to get pregnant and this girl is pregnant and wants to kill her baby! How is that right? If you cannot have a baby you should have used birth control. You should put that baby up for adoption. I know many people who would love to have your baby... I would gladly take it.
