Someone else is on my credit report
 I recently tried to get prequalified to purchase a home and discovered that someone else's information is on my credit report. This information is only on one bureau report and not on the other two. What do I need to do without paying some "credit repair" place?

First most credit repair places are not even legal in many states, and they do nothing you can't do yourself.

You contact the credit bureau and inform them of this, can dispute it on your report
