OK well my name is emily and I am 15 me and my b/f have been together for about 10 months now and he is 19 my parents don't have a problem with us dating or anything. But my mom and step-dad don't won't me haven sex but I already have and I think I am pregnant. I have not told my mom or dad yet but we are already about what would happen if I was you know I am asking ? 's wit out telling them that I am. But any ways they said that it was was the law for me and him to be together like that and if I ended up pregnant. Then he would get arrested. But you see I am very mature for my age and all I make straight A's and I am looking for a job at the fats cafe' tomorrow. So I am pretty responsible and I am in ROTC and I won't to go to collage to become a lawyer and with a baby it may be hard and all to do that but I am willing to do it cause if I am pregnant. Them I will keep it.me and my b/f have already talked about me being pregnant. And he is OK with it and he told me we would get through it together. Well he is a raper and he has a producer he is trying to make it big witch I think he will that's how good he is. But I need help I live in cheraw sc and I don't know what to do can my boyfriend go to jail if I am pregnant. PLEASE HELP ME ASAP

Most likely, yes. It is too bad that your parent allowed it, knowing that it was illegal. I think that the first thing you need to do is go to the doctor and get a pregnancy test. Your worrying may all be for nothing. How late are you?

I would advise him to seek advice from a lawyer in regards to this matter.

No, they can't tell your parents that you asked for pregnancy testing. That is patient/doctor confidentiality. See if you can find a crisis pregnancy center with free pregnancy testing. Look online or in the phonebook in the yellow pages.

If you find out that you are pregnant, you will have to have prenatal doctor's visits to make sure you and the baby are healthy. So if you find out for sure, please tell your folks right away. They may be upset, but they will be glad that you were honest.

You can still go to school with a child. Hold on to your dreams. There are programs to help you finish high school and there is financial aid for college.

The most important thing to do right now is get the pregnancy test. I recommend going to the doctor for it instead of buying a home test. The results are more accurate and the doctor is right there to give you advice and support if you need it. That is why I think a crisis pregnancy center can really help.

If you have not already, make sure to get a pap test, pelvic exam, and STD testing regardless of pregnancy status. It is so important to get that exam every year once you are sexually active. Us girls have to take responsibility for our health.

Dear, he can be arrested for sex with a minor as you are under age 18 years of age. It makes no difference how smart you are or how many A's you get in school. The fact that you are 15 is what's going to matter to the judge. If you want to get married, then do that if you can. In some states the age limit is lower than others. I don't know about SC's age though.

I would definitely discuss this with your parents as soon as possible as you are still living under their roof and technically in their care and custody according to the law. Discuss all your options with them, such as keep the child, get married and keep the child, etc. Don't wait until you're say 5 months and suddenly spring it on them as that is not a good idea.

If you think you are pregnant, have you taken one of those home pregnancy tests or are you just guessing at this point? Also, just how mature is your boyfriend? Does he have a job?

Yes, you boyfriend can go to jail for rape and be classified as a sex offender for the rest of his life ( having to register as such, photo on line and all of that)

That does not mean he will be, but will be up to your parents if they will press charges against him or no. The worst thing you can do is not tell them ( if you are) to be sure, have you taken a pregnancy test either at home or gone to a county health department for a test.

It is good to have goals but having a baby will change a lot of it, since it is a job into itself and a baby will costs a lot of money. You will be able to go to college and more if you want to with a baby, but it will take a lot of support and work.

So basically what you need to do is find out, if you are not, stop having sex until you are ready to have a baby. ( or at least use two forms of birth control) and if you are, sit down ( both of you) with your parents , expecting to have a lot of yelling and more that day. And tell them. You will need medical care and the such.

And before you say, you are scared to talk to them, if you are pregnant it means you are a adult now and part of it, is just having to do things you find hard because it is something you have to do.

OK well my mom said she would not sign for me to get married but in North carolina were my dad lives if I am pregnant. Then I am conciderd an adult and I can move out. And I have not taken a pregnant. Test yet .and my b/f dose have a job.

Well just because you are pregnant does not mean you have to get married, sometimes at your age the best thing you can do is just wait,
And of course if you dad does not have phsycial custody, then you fall under the laws of the state where your mom lives. The main issues is first just find out if you are pregnant and do not merely have some infection that may be upsetting your period.

In both North Carolina and South Carolina the age of consent for a female to have sex is 16. So, yes, he could very likely go to jail.

However, right now you are putting the cart before the horse. First you need to find out if you are pregnant, then start worrying.

As has been said before... Maturity has nothing to do with it.

I'm sure your boyfriend is a good rapper (not raper (that means he raped someone)), but you know the biz is very hard to get into... if you are pregnant he should be finding real honest to goodness employment. There is a good chance he will need a lawyer if your parents do decide to press charges. He will also need to be able to provide for your medical coverage and every expense that the baby will make. Working at Fat's Café probably won't last too long if you are pregnant, and you will only be able to work a limited amount of hours because of your age.

Now, if you find out you aren't pregnant, you basically have already told your parents that you are having sex since you said you are questioning them. Not a mature move to tell you the truth.
