I started the pill on Sunday 9th dec 07, I took 21 pills will tuk me 2 sat 5th jan 08. I should have had a 7 day break, and I didn't have the pill on Sunday 6 or Monday 7 jan 08. I was going away that weekend so I didn't dare risk it so started taking it again, on the tues 8th jan I took one in the mornin and one at night, and then continued from weds as normal. On weds 9th jan I started bleeding heavily and had severe cramps which I never experienced before I went on the pill. Its now exactly 2 weeks later I've been taking the pill every day since at the same time and I'm still bleeding as heavy and still getting the cramps. I'm due to stop the pills again on Saturday, which means ill be on again, I can see myself being on my period all the time. What should I do, go back to the doctors or give it time to settle, my friend said it could be normal?

If you just started, then yeah, it might be normal. Its totally normal for your cycle to get thrown off during the first three months of taking a new pill. If you just really don't feel right about it though, call your dr, its why they are there. And definitely call if its still irregular after three months.
