Recently after 5months of a semi-serious relationship with my boyfriend he broke up with me which seemed out of the blue to me especially and his mates. He said it had been working through his mind over the last 2 weeks but never showed signs of it and a few days before the break up said that he was really into me, didn't want to loose me anytime soon and I was the most serious girlfriend he has had as well as a cool chick all of which I took to heart naturally then the few days after that broke up with me.
His reasons behind why he broke up with me were that he just didn't want a relationship and another chick was not involved which I know is definite.
Naturally I just wanted to call him and ask him why and to reconsider it.
The day he broke up with me I was txtn him at night saying how much this sucked and whether we don't see each other as much and just keep it to a weekend thing which he agreed with but the next day changed his mind which I didn't no of which really got me down again.
I gave him his space and he decided that he doesn't want to get back with me and I am still really into him and want him back.
Urgently need advice and if anyone has got any that would be awesome! It would also be good to hear from a guys perspective too and get an understanding from them.

I'm a guy.

Give him space. If he asked for a break, do just that. If he goes for a while without talking to you or seeing you, and he really does have feelings for you and wants you back, then he'll call you on his own. If not, then he's already seeing someone else or has those very intentions on his mind.

And while you are on a break, you should go out and date. NOT FIND ANOTHER BOYFRIEND, NOT AROUND, just date. A simple dinner, movie, lunch, etc. Nothing big. No kissing. Just dating. This will help you ease your mind, have fun, and possibly find other things about a possible future mate you may like that you've never realized before.

Thanks heaps but I think he has moved on and just doesn't want the commitment unless there is something hidden that he really isn't telling me how he actually feels. Its really tricky with him to know anything. There is no girl involved but later on in the year I'm sure he will be looking for another girl friend anyway. Thanks for the advice though.
