    My 87 barina keeps flooding!
    Hey there guys,
I'm new to this site. I have an 87 holden barina, and I've changed my fuel pump & filter recently cause I thought it wasn't getting enough fuel cause it kept staling. Now I think its getting too much fuel and is flooding?? I'm going to put a carbi cleaner through it today & hopefully that does the trick?? If not I hope someone has any suggestions that may help me?? I'm very desperate!! Thanks

That is carburated. Do you have someone in your area that can rebuild that carburator?
It sounds like the float has gotten stuck in the open position. Possibly due to debris moving around internally. Another possibility is that the fuel pump you've installed is providing too much fuel and there is nowhere else for the excess to go.
Older vehicles carburator's can get gummed up. The tiny passages are easily clogged with the smallest bits. Simply spraying a cleaner down the bore won't reach the passages that need to be dealt with.
You need to check fuel volume and have the carb rebuilt.
    I hope this helps.

Water seeps into my basement during and after heavy rains. And actually the water in the basement sort of seeps out of the basement after 12 to 24 hours of the end of the rain. Is this due to a rising water table, or to water build up in the dirt filled area around the foundation walls? Will...
