    Florida puppy lemon law
If a puppy is bought in Florida and the new owners sign a contract for the puppy to be seen by a Florida lic. Vet, but they decide to take the pup out of the state anyway, and the puppy comes down with parvo, who is liable? Also during the parvo treatment emerency vet gives a 1lb parvo pup 1.4cc of Ivomec instead of .14... pup dies who's at fault?

If the contract says the new owners will take the puppy to a Florida licensed vet and they do not, the new owners have violated the contract which then becomes null and void. I don't know where you were thinking of going with that aspect but you broke the contract, the breeder (presumably) did not.

And as far as the Ivomec - how did you become aware of the error and can you prove it was an error as well as the cause of death? I thought Ivomec was used to treat heartworm, mange - I know it is not recommended for any off-label use and using it to treat parvo, an entirely different matter, I think, would appear to be off label. The Vet gave a dog with diagnosed Parvo a dose of Ivomec? I had a dog with Parvo and they did nothing but treat the Parvo for a very long time.

The other thought is that (unfortunately for all dog owners) dogs are PROPERTY in just about every State, same as a table or chair, and so the very best you can hope for is replacement cost of the puppy and a reimbursement of your Vet bills.
