    Trouble doing execises
I have basketball practice everyday at school but I want to jog or run and do exercises at home on saturdays and sundays and sometimes in the evening after practice. I really want to but I always tell myself I don't have to do it now or not today. How can I stop doing that and tell myself I want to and have to do it?:)

If you really want to do be good at basketball, then my suggestion would be to tell yourself that this is something that you really want to be good at, and in order for you to be good at it, you are going to have to go through the efforts of what you need to do in order to be good at it.

Hopefully, others will come along with the suggestions that they might have also.

I play basketball too. Well its my 1st time on a team. And I was always shy about it, but I made myself go to be healthier and I did. So just without thinking. Get up. Eat an apple. Put on a sweater. And jog out of the house.

Get up a little earlier then normal and just go for it, then it's over with. Force yourself to get up and after a few days, it will become routine. It's just motivating yourself that first day!

You need to find someone else who has the same goal and will hold you accountable, it can even be a parent. Exercising is tough to start, but once you get in a groove or "habit" about three weeks in, it will be like auto pilot. It would also help to just try to find another aerobic activity that you enjoy and don't think of as exercise i.e.. Basketall.
