    Soap added to the jacuzzi
    If soap is added to an above ground jacuzzi, what affect, if any can it have on the pump and/or motor?

    Not much, is this a hot tub or a whirlpool, Jacuzzi makes both I believe.

    Sorry, it's an above ground Weslo Spa. So, no real damage can happen to pump or motor from putting soap in the spa, right? More of a water quality issue? Thanks

    Yes, your pump will be fine but there is not much you can do but drain it and refill. You could try a defoamer but that's normally only for small amounts of soap from your body or swim suit.
