Fridigair Micwave unit make Humming Sound
I have an Older Fridigair Micwave Table top unit with a Brower-- Freq. 2450-- Every thing seems to work - However after the cooking time expires - the unit makes a loud Humming sound that will not stop - only when the door is open or the unit is unpluged-- This problem arrised after heating something for 5 minutes - the unit timed out and the sound begain?
I'm concerned of the Safety factor of this unit with a Sound much like" The Roar of a Untuned Radio"?
Any information would be a great mind relaxer!
    Thnak you. Jb.

If it is older unit probably best to replace. Microwaves are less expensive these days. These are expensive to repair and usually exceed the cost of replacement
