Is the mirror inside the door or on the outside? Some mirrors are set like a window pane while others are just glued to the flat surface with a special mirror adhesive.

Anuradhamani - I had to take some broken mirrows once and the way I got them loose,(they were glued ) I took a stif 6 inch wide putty knife and a propane torch, I would heat the putty knife and then start it down between the glass and the wood it a little slow but it heats the glue and loosens it and the glass comes right off .:: I hope this helps you , IF my answer helps ,rate it below ,Good luck & GOD BLESS ::: F.B.E.

As described above, using heat and something to pry with might work. Maybe also try a heat gun such as one might use to remove old paint?

Whenever heating anything that is made of chemicals of any kind, please be sure to wear the appropriate kind of respirator to protect yourself from potentially dangerous fumes.

Finger nail polish will remove it. Saturate cotton balls apply around it, to start to dissolve the glue, wahla, guarantee it! Use a butter knife if you don't have a putty knife, to help loosen along the way. Hope this helps.

I guess we should give up on this one, Anaura hasn't be back in a week. If a person did try finger nail polish remover how would you get it to the back side of a mirror glued to a wood armoir?
