I have no clue what's going on with my body no because I have been having cramps for three weeks , they hurt sometimes they are sharp shooting pains. I missed my period but I'm still cramping and now I've missed my period for over a week now and. I don't know what's going on? I don't think that I'm pregnant because I get cramps , yet again I have missed my period. Can someone help me please because I'm so confused.

I will assume you are wanting to become pregnant, since you are not using condom or discussed it with your doctor for other brands or types.

But of course there is a great chance you can be pregnant.

The birth control takes 1 to 3 months to be effective against a pregnancy. If you stopped the birth control mid-cycle then the missed/irregular period might be due to that. You should take a home pregnancy test. If it's negative, wait.

If you are having pain in your lower right pelvic/abdominal area you should seek a doctor's attention, even a little bit of pain in that area can signal problems.

If you are experiencing fever, chills, nausea, vomiting or severe pain any where, you seek a doctor's attention. Only a medical professional will be able to truly tell you if you are pregnant or not.

**Remember this is only an opinion from a regular person like you.

You can have cramps, and still be pregnant. Cramping while pregnant could be from growing pains, as your uterus has a lot of growing to do in a short amount of time. It could be a sign of miscarriage. It could muscle cramps. It could be that you are just late. Its not uncommon to be late or even completely miss a cycle now and then. It could be for a hundred other reasons, pregnant or not. If these cramps are intense, make sure you see your doctor asap. Take a hpt with first morning urine. As you have been late for over a week now, it should be fairly accurate by this point(as we usually suggest people wait at least one week after a missed period to test, as not everyone's hcg levels are high enough to register the first day of a missed period)
