How to Buy an abandoned home
I live in eastern NC: I would like to know who do you contact to buy a abandoned home. I have drove past this house for 7 years and it's just sitting there empty and unused. I already have land I just need to find a house that is movable on my property.

You will have to contract the owner of the property. You may look online in some areas to the county recorder of deeds office. ( some areas have this online) But you can go to the recorder of deed in your county and see who has the deed in their name, also see if there is a lien on the property.

Next you can go to the county property tax department and see who the tax bill is being mailed to.
