    Not sure what it is
    Every time my mother-in-law comes over to my house my little girl who is one year old wakes up every night 2-4 times and sometimes more a night for up to a week after she sees her and when she gets up at night she is yelling ,crying and is like someone is hurting her or something and its really hard to get her to go to sleep its never been a big deal before sleeping in her room or going to sleep and my my mother -in-law sees her every month but this is the only time it happens please help...

    I think you need to observe them together more closely. What type of personality is your mother in law. Does she like children? Does she have a pet that she brings with her. Does she stop over? Does she get up in the night with your daughter? Does she come to stay on a regular bases? Does she go tell your daughter good night? If you are absolutely positive that the reason your daughter is up screaming in the night is due to your mother in law's visits then you must observe them to find out what the problem is. Does mother in law feed your child while she is there? Could it be that she feeds her things she isn't used to like too much sugar, too many sweets, and sweet drinks? Does she over indulge your daughter?

    She(mother-in-law) lives in town doesn't see her much and does not stay to long she does not stay here alone (her doing) she is nice and does play with her when she sees my little girl I know that my mother-in-law would not hurt her .but still there is something going on

    Does she feed your child? Does she tell her scary stories? How often has this getting up in the night been going on?
