    Permanent retainer
    If I have a permanent retainer on the top of my teeth do I also have to wear the regular retainer on the top of my teeth tooth cause I just came from my dentist and she gave me both but everyone else tell me I am OK with the permanent retainer??

    You should be fine with the ones that are cemented in on the front top and bottom teeth.
    It seems odd that she would have given you both types. Keep the removable one in case the permanent one breaks, at least you'll have something too keep things in place until you get it recemented.
