    Fan kicks on and off
We have an Intertherm central heater in our mobile home. The fan will blow for a couple of minutes after the thermostat kicks on and then the fan kicks off before the temperature in the trailer reaches what the thermostat is set at. The fan continues to kick on and off like this with the temperature in the trailer never reaching what the thermostat is set at. What could be the problem?

Out of calibration fan control. Heat anticipator in thermostat needs adjustment. Call a local professional that knows how to work on HIGH STATIC mobile home equipment.

NOTE if you have closed off ANY registers open them back up and keep them open. Mobile home equipment is already working under severe blower restrictions and as such if ducts/registers are closed it just makes the problem worse. I am sure you already cleaned or replaced the filter and have the service man check for dirt on the A/C coil to see if it is also blocking air flow.

Thanks for your help. We found out the problem. The regulator on our LP gas tank had gone bad. It was not allowing enough gas pressure to let the heater burn hot enough to keep the fan running. When we changed to a different tank with a different regulator, the heater worked just fine.
