Spotting for nine days -
I have no idea what is going on with my body and it is driving me nuts. I went off the patch in Auguest 2005, for health reasons and I eventually want to give our daughter a sibling. My husband and I have been trying since September, but I did not start charting with the Book until October. By November- December charting it looked as though I was going back to my normal 28 day cycle. The beginning of January I saw my gyno and she said everything is great. My husband and I had sex on my 9th, 11th, 12th, 15th, 16th 23rd and 32nd day of my cycle. My period was due the 28th cycle day, but on the 24th I notced spotting when I went to the bathroom. It is now the 33rd day of my cycle and the spotting still continues. It is not all the time or even enough to wear a light days.Since I have been pregnant before I know what to look for and I do have the nausea, fatigue, tender breasts, back pain. This could also be my period, I feel like my period could start any minute but it has not. I took two pt and negative any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your stay with us and benefit from it. If your recent visit to the OB/GYN doc showed no problems, you could have implantation bleeding, and the tests you took could be negative because they are not 100 percent accurate and your hormone levels might not be high enough yet.
Remember the golden rule - when in doubt, see your doctor, as their tests are more accurate, and if you are, and there are pets in the neighborhood or at your home, you also need a test for toxoplasmosis to reassure you that all will be well.
Even though you've been pregnant before, all pregnancies are different, and you might have forgotten a few things, or not experienced others - that's always possible. One instance, my daughter has not had any morning sickness at all and she's starting her 2d trimester - so she's a lucky one.
Check out the following sites for a recap of things to come, and please keep us posted. Good Luck!

Thank you
It was so nice of you to reply to my question =) I have decided to go see my doc on Monday. My symptoms have stayed the same and now all pt have been negative. I wish they could tell me what else could be causing this. Maybe it is nothing
Thanks and take care
Christine

Chery, you mentioned pets. I'm having the same issue as Christine and if I am pregnant, I thought that in the first month or so of pregnency, the pet concernes shouldn't be that high. We own two cats and I've already told my husband that if I do get pregnant, he's on cat box duty. Am I wrong to think this?

Nobody is ever wrong in questioning any aspect of life, especially while pregnant. Doctors are also sometimes too busy to ask if you have pets at home or in the neighborhood even though it is a factor of concern. This is why I suggested to my daughter and all others to make a list of medical history, medications, pets, allergies, etc, and give it to their doctors to keep on record - making diagnoses and prognoses a lot easier.
So, just calm down, talk to your doctor, and get reassurance from him/her.
The immunizations pets get and today's more modern concerns make the risk a lot less than what it was 20 years ago.
Remember, whenever a question pops up, it's time to ask it and no question is too 'dumb'.
