8wk inoculated Pup sick, is it injury or illness?
Rottie Pup getting bonier and weaker but skin still loose enough not to be dehydrated, very hungry and thirsty, eats greedily, vomits easily, coughs when drinking water, rests a lot, when picked up, throws head back and remains very limp, does come when called, does eat and drink, does try to play, fluid in mouth sounds "tacky" like a dry mouth, and swallows a lot, seems to be getting cold, especially head shaking when he keeps it up, and rest of pups fine. Was inoculated 2 weeks ago and dewormed. Unsteady weak gait, still inquisitive. Mother very rough with pups, is it an injury or illness? How can I help until Saturday when I can go to Vet? Did have a runny tummy and serious vomiting 3 weeks ago, but it seemed to clear up. Can feel a knob by breast bone. Please help...

If it were my pup, I would take it to the vet right away. Either your regular vet or the emergency vet. At least call the vets office for advice.

If you need a third voice to chime in, I will. I agree with both posters above. Annie, please do not wait until Saturday. That puppy needs a vets attention ASAP. We cannot examine him online and anything we tell you would just be a guess. You need an answer and a proper course of treatment immediately.
