I have removed my toilet and found an offset flange with bolt slots on three sides and two small tabs on one side. I need to reset the toilet but the little bolt tabs are broken. How do I secure the bolt to the flange if there are no tabs?

The flange looks fine to me. When you say "little bolt tabs are broken" are you talking about the two bolts that set the toilet? They are flat sided and fit into the slot and then 1/4 turn. You can buy new at ACE

If the tip of the measuring tape is North. The toilet needs to sit so the tank is towards the north so the bolts need to be on the east and west. So if you look at the east side of the flange you will notice no slot for the "T" bolt. Originally there were two little platic tabs/ears protruding from the flange. The "T" bolt could slip under those tabs/ears.

If you look closely at the picture you can see one of the tabs sitting next to the paper towel I have stuffed in the drain.

I can slide the "T" bolt into the slot on the west, but there is nothing on the east.

OK I see it now. You offset was left and right as opposed to forward and backward. I would think flange repair kit would give you what you need. Home

Just happened to find this thread from Google. I had the same issue, my question is WHY on earth would the flange be 90 degrees off? Baffles me...

Baffle no longer. He moved his toilet along the wall line and not out from it. If you have a broken slot on your flange then purchase a flange repair kit,(see image) and your flange will be good as new. Good luck, Tom
