    Changing switches
Yes I know have 2 turn buttons where I can adjust my light brightness and fan speed I would like to put in a switch to turn light on and off. Then I can adjust the fan with a pull string on the fan. There are all sorts of wires inside the box on the wall where do I start.

Thanks for any and all information.

    Terry,

Is this post related to a prior posting in the electrical and lighting, board? If so, can you direct me to that question,

Also re. your comment about the wiring, can you get a clear shot at the wires in the box you are referring to? If you can, please isolate the wires into groups, without disconnecting anything ( if you would prefer not to put your hands into the box just yet then please get as clear of apicture of the contents of the box as you can) ,and get a picture and attach it to this posting by using the Advanced tab at the bottom of this question.

    Thanks,

Don, afraid this is just a manner of speaking/writing by starting a sentence with YES. There was no earlier post and I think Terry was saying "I now have" instead of I know have. Its like a mega typo.
