    Ignition key won't turn
    I have a 2002 dodge grand caravan, the steering wheel is locked, it won't turn and the
    Ignition key won't turn on. This has happened two other times, and we shook the van
    And everything finally unlocked, but we have tried this for over an hour, and nothing is working. Do you have any ideas of what might work? Thanks!

    Try jiggling the shifter, make sure you have your foot on the brake, sometimes I forget to and wonder why it won't start. Also try turning the steering wheel sometimes when the tires are in certain positions it seems to lock the ignition for some reason.

    Hopefully you don't have the problem I had. Something inside my steering wheel that connected the ignition to the gear shifter wore out and I had to get the whole thing replaced.
