    Getting a roommate out legally.
We are home owners in Idaho. We let a guy stay with us for a while, now we want him OUT! There are no signed agreements. Do we need to do anything legally to get him out?

If he has ever paid you rent, then he's a tenant and you have to go through the eviction procedure. If he has never paid you anything or done anything to earn his keep, he's a guest who overstayed his welcome and you can just kick him out.

Certain states require court orders if that "ROOMMATE" has received mail at your residence. Recently went through a similar situation and there are laws in our state that allowed them to climb in through a window,in our front yard never the less and police who were called out say this was not illegal even if they never contributed a dime to any bills, as long as we allowed them to use our address.
