    Toilet stopped up
I have 3 toilets in our home. Two are stopped up and will not flush. I pulled the toilet in the kids bathroom and it was full of water. I ran a 35 ft power snake down the hole and the water level only dropped about 2 inches. I turned the water off to the toilets and they drain down after an hour or so. I actually was able to use one of the toilets (in the master bedroom) for a few flushes and then it will not flush.

Should I try and pull the other toilet (master bedroom)and do the same?
Do I need a linger snake?
Should there be water in the hole after I pull the toilet?

What do I need to do?

Are you on city sewer or a septic tank?

Should I try and pull the other toilet (master bedroom)and do the same?
    Not yet.
Should there be water in the hole after I pull the toilet?
There should be no water in the closet bend after you snake the line.
Do I need a linger snake?
If there's still water in the nlines that means the blockage's farther on down the line. Go after it aqain. Good luck, Tom

This sounds like a blockage where the three lines from the toilets intersect. I am not sure what a "linger snake is" but it can't hurt!

Hey everyone, hopefully someone can shed some light here. Recently I had to change the little "flapper" that lifts when you flush the toilet. Now this flapper had a Styrofoam cone that I think acted to give it buoyancy and well it went down the hole and I'm hoping the drain. The problem I am...
