    You can not live sitting in either

    Both can be contained

    Nitrogen is created and controlled from creation to disposal or use
    Lava is not controlled coming out of a volcano but has a short life time once exposed.

    Would you rather be killed by a car or a train?? Not really a comparison of the two.
