    Maytag dryer only warm
It was taking forever for the clothes to dry in our 5 yr old Maytag. I replaced the element and high limit today. The element looked the same but the high limit looked a little different. I installed it anyway.

It appears that the element got very hot, tripped the high limit and will not come on. Is the high limit shot or is there a reset somewhere?

    Thanks for your help.

Just a quick tip... did you clean out your vent to the outside before changing elements? If no, then please do before you turn it on again. That's all my dryer needed to run aokay again after taking forever to dry the clothes. Can't help with your question though...
