    If you mean when you fight him outside the café in the town? First-DO NOT try to jump attack him.big no no.the best and easiest way is to run at full speed and when he is close hit attack(not jump) and sweep him,after 5-6 hits you will beat him.DO NOT stop running either because he will own you with his powers every time.sonics speed should be your main weapon here.
