    Strange dream!
I had a dream that I would marry a guy I like right now. Does that mean I will marry him eventually or the opposite...

It means neither--it's just your innermost thoughts manifesting themselves, because when we are sleep, we are not thinking, there are no rational thoughts or inhibititions. So, it is what it is: you would like to marry this guy. Dreams don't predict the future, they just bring to the surface what is boiling beneath.

I've never had a dream predict the future.

I have had dreams that play off my fears and my desires.

It's a mixture of the reality you know and the acid-tripping-like firings of neurons in an absurd manner.

In my experience, dreams of fear have been most closely tied to reality.. for ex, stress in a relationship led to a dream about her cheating... another stressful time left me several nights in a dream about fighting.

My dreams of joy or passion are often tied maybe to reality, but many times are just completely out there. Passionate dreams about a person I've never met or seen. Reliving a moment in time with a grandfather who has passed and the event in the dream never happened.

So... don't read too much into it concerning predicting anything. It was a dream. Something to think about maybe, but not the basis for failure or success in this relationship.

I'm thinking of the old Disney tune... "A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you're fast asleep". Nothing more, nothing less. Your dreams are just projecting what your heart is wishing for...
