    2003 pt cruiser
I Have A 2003 Pt Cruiser That I Have Had For About 3 Years. I Have Had Various Problems With It, But None Such As The One That's Occurring Now. My Boyfriend Replaced The Bushing And The Bearing On The Drivers Side. The Bearing Has Been Replaced About 5 Times In A 2 Month Radius, But This Isn't The Problem. After He Replace The Bearing The 3rd Time, The Car Started To Shift Hard To The Right When It Reached 40mph. It Doesn't Do It All The Time, But Most. Especially When You Take Off Faster It Does It Even Worse. I Have Had My Car In To A Machanic And He Told Me That The Reason It Shifts Is My Passanger Side Bearing Is Loose And Needs To Be Replaced. Is This A Correct Diagnosis Or Is He Blowing Smoke Up My Rear? Any Suggestions?

If your car shifts hard to the right it sounds like a recipe for disaster on the road. It sounds like you have had your car since new and I think the dealership or Chrysler directly should be aware that you are having this problem.

Interesting concept 'having smoke blown up your rear'.

I don't know if it is a correct diagnosis by the mechanic, but it sounds like it could be correct without being right there and watching him check everything out.

Take it back to the dealership before you hurt yourself, or someone else in an accident because of this problem.

And by the way, it isn't necessary to capitalize each word in a sentence, just the first word.

    I have a few questions:
1.) Who has been doing the repairs? Five times in two months?? Something's wrong with this picture!
2.) What was replaced? Which bushing and which bearing?
3.) When you say, "Shift" to the right, do you actually mean "drift" to the right? If so, it sounds to me as if something wasn't put back together properly during the last repair. Or, it may be coincidence that something else has failed.
Also, you didn't mention how many miles are on the vehicle.

Missing File with Word 2003 (all Office 2003 programs) [ 3 Answers ]

I recently started having problems opening any of my Office 2003 Professional programs. The files seem to open, but an error pops up saying that I'm missing a file named PS561401.cab, and can not open without reinstalling the program. I don't have the installation disks for Office, as this...
