    GSD / Lab mix
Just wondering is there a percentage or standard when considering a dog mixed or not.

If 2 dogs of different breeds mate and have puppys they are mixed breeds.

Many Lab mixes look very Lab, but unless both parents were pure Labs or Shepherds, it is still a mix. I am not sure how far you would go, 1/16, 1/32, etc. and no longer consider it a mixed breed. I don't think you could ever register a dog with one drop of other blood.

It is quite common for a poorly cared for female to mate with more than one dog. Any dog she was know to mate with may or may not be the sire of any given puppy.

I put a pic up on my last post. I was told that the mother owned the female and she was shepard lab mix and the daughter owned the male and he was pure shepard. That is what I was told.
