    Lease transfer
    My landlord sold the house I live in. How do I formally transfer the lease to the new owner?

    You don't have to do anything. The new owner is required to honor the existing lease (unless there was a foreclosure.)

    There is no formal transfer, the new owner is obligated to honor the original one you have.
