    20 move out notice/no reason given
    My landlord won't renew my lease and gave 20 day notice to move. He won't say why or discuss it. He said he would tell others not to rent to me. I am on Section 8 and don't know what to do. I live in Olympia, Wa

    Did you lease expire? The landlord is under no obligation to renew. Has there been problems in the past?

    Hello m:

    He needs to give you at least 30 days. But, that's not much of a difference, is it?

    Whether he can legally say bad stuff about you to your prospective landlords is academic. Just don't give him as a reference.
