No sorry I don't think you will get your original skin tone back in two weeks. But you might see some slight improvement within those two weeks. You just got to be patient. :)

Hi DS users or want to use it, I just want to add that I had very fast results (Melasma kit), I had vitalize peel 2 weeks prior may be that made a difference.
The vitalize peel made my face smooth but it was red and then I started the Melasma kit, saw results in 3 days later. So I don't know, may be the with vitalize peel you will get fast better results? Just thought to share that

Didn't you say you used monobenzone before and you got all streaky? How did you rectify it?

Hi whitebutterfly, you told me the lightening creams/lotions are stronger than the whitening creams/ lotions, I don't think that was right, I bought all of them lightening cream/lotion and one whitening cream, you told me to exchange the lightening cream in the Melazma kit to whitening cream that was a good advice, but the body stuff, you told me to get the lightening instead of the whitening I don't think that was right either, all the whitening products are stronger than the lightening ones, I guess it is clear from the name, the lightening cream irritate my face the whitening was good, just thought to point that out for new buyers, buying stuff with a lot of money you want to get the right stuff, I know you mean well WBT and you were great

Hey WBF, I like the facial stuff very much, they're very good, but like you said exchange the lightening cream to the whitening , the lightening facial cream might lighten but I could not continue because it irritated my skin, didn't feel good on the skin.
The body lightening lotion is not bad but not great, the whitening lotion might be better, I did not get it according to your advice.

    Here's a tip..
You can cut the soap into 2 pieces in order to make it last longer.

Anyway, does anybody here knows how long does the peeling last? Cuz, today is my second day using the product and school is starting in a day. That means tomorrow is the last holiday! And the rest is school!! NO!
I'm going 10th grade... how stressful..
I don't want anybody in class to notice my skin peeling. How emberassing would it be?
I don't experience the peeling yet anyway.

I still peel like crazy even though I've been using it for a while. Getting quite tired of it now especially when I wear foundation it flakes off.

I went to spa twice to get the salt glow just to scrub or make my skin not dry. I have a friend who recommneded this DS and at first i can't believe it's gonna work because its too cheap compared the other products i tried...Nothing to lose- try it and give a chance. And that's what i did! Skin become smooth and smoother- spots getting lighter and was really happy i was so sure getting good results...So give more time (patience)and buy more products and experiment becuase i don't really follow the directions (instead of using once a day i used it 2x a day; applied only in the morning but i applied day and night) Now- i'm not dark that used to be....In our family pictures ur not gonna say i'm just a "FRIEND" because i'm one of them,too...see from the skin color.

For the people doesn't know about what i'm talking about-
I'm a Filipina and my mother, sibling and cousins they have a fair complexion. I used to have very dark complexion because i got it from my black american father. I was always out of place.. But now wont that happen anymore- I have a glowing light brown complexion.

Don't think that made much sense - sorry. You said people called you polka dot lady when you used monobenzone so how did you manage to to even it all up? DS has given me 3 white patches even though I try to apply it evenly. It still hasn't evened up for me yet. :(

How long did you mean "a while"? Also, how many times do you use the DS products?

I use the black soap on my face & papaya kojic soap on the whole body & leave it on for 10 minutes or less. I do that every day in the morning. Also, I apply the cream on my face & the body lotion on exposed area (arms, legs, neck etc) every other day. Today is my second day on treatment. Used the soaps twice & the cream & lotion once. No, peeling & stinging yet whatsoever. Though my skin is getting smoother & softer. :D

Since DS products are especially formulated for southeast asian skin, I thought it would work faster for me since I have southest asian skin (I'm not a filipino though) especially I was born fair. I heard many people from the philippines saw results within 3 - 14 days. Some see results after an overnight application. But the average time is 2 weeks. On the other hand, african americans often see results within months.
I bet in my case, I would see result in a week! :D

Anyway, I found information on how to use DS products & stuff here (I didn't buy my DS from the seller but their pages are sooo informative! Don't forget to read the WHOLE auction! That is where the most info are! The FAQ page is GREAT too!)..

I know broad spectrum sunscreen/sunblock is A MUST while on treatment & I have one question. I'm curious as what sunscreen/sunblock do you guys use? I use Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 55.

Think it has been a month or two since I've been using DS.
I used to leave the soap on my face for 10 minutes also but then my skin went really sore and red so left on for a minute or two. I used to apply soap and crème twice a day but now lowered to once a day as my skin is now really dry and flaky.
Those links you gave, I've read them before, and pages like that put me off buying DS as they tend to exaggerate the product but on here no one really does that and they just share their experiences so that's why I bought it.
    I use banana boat sunscreen.
I have Asian skin and I'm not really dark either. When I bought DS I thought I'd get results within a fortnight because I'm not really dark but still after a month or two usage, it has only slightly lightened my face and given me 3 white patches.
I hope it works out for you. I'm going to still carry on using it, if in a few weeks it hasn't improved, I'm going to stop and switch over to bio claire.

Whitebutterfly, how did you use mono? If you had and still have some fade polka dots that means it is in your system and it won't go away from what I've heard, have you seen a doctor? What is you skin color compare to a celebrity before and after DS?

I bought my very 1st bar of soap there...I was tempted with her lenghty details and feedbacks but was a mistake. So i change to another seller and stick to them.
For two weeks I left it on my skin for 10 minutes then stopped. I stop when it gets too bad and just apply olive oil for a week then my skin is OK. After that I start apply DS and begins peeling again.

Why did you change to another seller? Does she sell fake DS products?

No, Diana Stalder is the name of the product. The dermatologists are Dr. Vicki Belo & Dr. Pie Calayan, if I'm not mistaken. :)

I noticed SouthGain offer two types of creams. One is Whitening Creme & the other one is Lightening Creme. What's the difference between those two creams? I checked on..
:: Diana Stalder - The Skin Care Expert ::
And it only list Whitening Crème, Double Action Whitening Lotion, Body Whitening Lotion & Plain Whitening Crème. There is no Lightening Crème listed. I'm terribly confused..
