Hi, Just completed the pour of a garage foundation and notice there are hairline cracks in the slab. The foundation was pour with 6 sack pea gravel and #4 rebar with a 4" slab. Contractor said it was the way the concrete is dried - too quick... He said he will fix it. Should I be concerned for...

I built a bathroom in my basement and now I am ready to install tile. My question is I have noticed hairline cracks in the shower floor. I put down my 1st layer of concete than a rubber shower pan and than another layer of concete. Do I need to repair them and how do I do that?

Hairline Cracks in Fiberglass Tub Wall

My 25 year old 1 piece fiberglass tub shower unit has developed three 2 inch hairline cracks in the shower wall. It does not appear that water is seeping through the cracks. Is there a preferred sealant for ensuring that water does not sweep throgh these cracks? Thanks, Steve
