    Twiced Judged
Can a place of business in which you owe a debt submit a previously filed judgement against you again and receive another judgement just because they added it in a different referance number and a different amount?

    Hello don:

No, they can't collect the same debt twice. They can, probably, make adjustments, and renew the OLD judgment.

A valid debt can only be collected on once, but as excon did mention, they can go back and modify the orgainal judgement if there is a need to.
And they can almost always be renewed when needed.

I wouldn't think so. They can always file a motion to enforce the judgment they already have against you. But that's different from pursuing a separate, 2nd. Judgement for the same debt.
