    Theft under 5000
    About like a week ago I got caught stealin in timhortons all in total the money I stole is 300 bucks but I needed that money for a reason so I just want to know what will happen now and I am under 19 and its my first time doing that

    ... did you get arrested or did you just get caught? Who did you get caught by?

    You say that you're under 19... so I'm assuming that you're 18?

    Well, in the US, you can get arrested. And jail time and/or a fine. Really depends on...

    Who caught you
    Did you cause any damage while stealing?

    I'm in canada and I am 17 and I got caught by the store owner and I didn't do any damages

    You didn't answer all the questions. We need more details about whether the police were called in or not.

    First you needed the money, so you decided to steal money that belonged to someone else, sorry I hope you go to jail for the max, since you don't seem to release it was wrong and you don't appear sorry except sorry you were caught.

    But sadly most likely your parents will go to court with you, and you will get probaton, and have to pay the store back damages, I believe they will require you to pay somewhere around 250 dollars plus court fines.
