    Different brands require different installation. Basically a hanger plate is screwed to the wall behind the Microwave. The unit catches the hanger plate o=along the bottom and then 2-4 long bolts go through the unit fron to back screwing into the plate. At least 2 sometimes 4 bolts come down through the floor of the cabinet above.
