Anyhoo I've had a rumage round the settings, but I'm missing something,
Could somebody help, with a possible walk-through
Thanks in advance to whoever answers

Yea, but I got norton free and any other decent anti virus software cost money,
So... any other suggestions
I've used worse than norton before, like McAffee

So you're using licensed software that ISN'T licensed to you, ho hum.
I suggest you look around as there are a number of excellent free alternatives that are LEGAL!

No, sorry I didn't explain it fully
I got norton 360 free when I bought my laptop, in other words it came as part of the package deal, and to get another anti virus software package would cost more money
It is registered to me

Albear, this is a time limited functionality product that tends to expire after 90 days. Then you must purchase a yearly subscription.
So would you like to revise your story again?
Double of quits.

Fair enough
I bought my laptop (which included the yearly subscription of norton 360)
I actually install the 90 day free trial, msn still works
90 days runs out and I install the full year subscrption (which came with my laptop)
Msn 'suddenly' stops working, so I go and have a look at the setting and change things to allow msn in places but still not woking
