    Breaking lease
We moved into our apartment in July we had our baby in August everything was fine until November we had mold in every corner and window in our house. I had taken pictures and cleaned it with mold and mildew remover it did not come back until December so I called the landlord and told her again she did the same thing she did the first time sent out the maitenec man he said it was being caused from a shingle removed from the back side of the house... so why was it in all sides of the house? But we started talking to a real estate and she found us a town house in our price. So on the 15 again we got the mold back and the maitence man came back to go under the cross space he said there was and o moisture under there but when my boyfriend came home he went under there and there are puddles of water down there water rotting the wood so we took more pictures sent them to her again and the next day the maitence man was back! He told me that the drainage was failing so what do we do? We have so many pictures of the mold failing it was in our house we have a 4 month old and have to worry about his health the landlord said we would have to pay rent until someone moved in our apartment

The only way you can legally break the lease is if you can prove the mold represents a health hazard. When the mold reappears, call a town inspector to come in and check the property. Show him the pictures and the puddles. Hopefully he will issue a citation against the landlord. The landlord needs to repair the condition or let you leave.
