Who is responsible for snow removal?
Hello I have been renting an apartment in a three family house with a driveway shared with another tenant. Up until the last storm we had yesterday I never had a problem with the landlord plowing our driveway. However Yesterday when we called him around 12 pm to ask when we would be plowed out, his wife said it was not in our lease that it was their responsibility and they only did it as a favor?? We never had a problem last year or in the storm two days ago so I'm not sure what has changed?? However If they have had a change of heart what are the laws for a common area in Massachussettes?? I paid my uncle to plow out the parking lot that is also used by another tenant and I am the only one who paid?

My understanding the landlord is responsible to clear the sidewalk. The tems of the lease should decide who does the driveway.
I could not find specific rule for your state, but his is common
