Snow Removal Regulations in Western NY
I am not sure if this is the correct forum or not. My neighbor across the street has a plowing service and they keep plowing the snow from her driveway into my yard. Last summer I had to repair damage to my front lawn for the plow tearing into it. Is there any regulation to keep her plow operator from pushing her snow into my yard? I thought I read somewhere that the snow had to either be transported to a dumping area or be plowed into the property owners yard, but I cannot find it anywhere.

I live in Ohio, so I am familiar with the plows (had to have my driveway done today)

I would check with your city ordinances. I think that is how it would be governed.
Also, talk to your neighbor. Tell them that there was damage to the yard last year and you would prefer that your yard not be used as a disposal area.
If that doesn't work, call the company that does the plowing for your neighbor.
