    Snow in Upstate NY
I am a landlord in upstate NY and I am wondering about snow removal. I own a home which I live in at the end of a "right-of-way" type of driveway. When you pull in you go past my house then there are 3 other houses that share the driveway. I am solely resposnible to clear the end of the driveway to the road? Also would I be in trouble if I blocked the part of the driveway with snow that leads to the others? I dislike shoveling enough I really don't want to do it for other people.

Its not a public road, but it is an easement. You cannot block access to the driveway!

If you are the landlord why don't you hire someone to do the snow plowing/shovelling ?

Or buy a snow thrower. You might be able to get the other owners to chip in.
