    Credit settlement
    I'm thinking about signing up with a credit settlement company... my question is... if I do, would it help me or hurt me in the end. I was told from someone that if you get the help from outside credit helping sources it will show on your credit and creditors will look at that as a negative.

    If it has gone to credit settlement then I think it is already to the point of hurting your credit report. Everything is on your credit as good or bad or slow. I think the only way to repair it is to get it paid off ASAP.
