Ladies and gentlemen...
While we moderators are here to do a "job" of sorts, we cannot monitor every thread at all times. Now, to get to my point, the double and triple threads here take up much needed server space. We try to do as much as we can, but due to all of the doubles and triples here, it is very hard to moderate and merge them together as they should be.
I know it's fun to see how fast the threads get to 1500 posts so a new one can be started, but it does tend to cause problems, as I said above, with the server.
I am hereby requesting that the double and triple posting be discontinued from this point forward or the threads will have to be closed so that we can maintain space on the server.
So, please, please please, no more double or triple posting.

Sure thing J.
Never was a race. If it makes it easier we can completely delete the old ones... I don't know if that is possible.
No more double and triple posting from me!

I understand you never looked at it like a race, but it is fun to get so far so fast. At least I think so, LOL.
Anyway, you know that deleting is not really an option here, but the double and triple posts do have to stop.
This is not part of the "job" here that I enjoy. I do hope you understand.

Ok... so guys what this means as I have told you in the past is that...
When you post do not double post. Wait till some one else posts or combine you posts into the same post by clicking on the EDIT button below the post then you can edit it like this...
EDIT:
This is how it is done
Otherwise we close all threads like this and there will be no more stinkin thread at all, so please follow the rules! As they do work very hard to make this site function and work properly!
EDIT::: and this is what you would do again if you have something else to say... you guys get it? Good... now back to what ever we were doing
Hugs! I got to go finish my stuff...

I was a little confused as to what exactly was going on... thanks for explaining. I only want to do it the correct way to keep all happy and make it easier. Thanks again...

Am I correct in that I would now go back to my original post above this one and click "edit" and respond there to your comments here? Sorry...

Sorry, (still confused then.. ) If I do that, my response to you will only show up on my original post (right?) then there will be no natural progression or flow in the conversations?
Example; when I respond in my original post it will only show in that post.. so if it is post number say # 500 and the other posts have gone on to say #555. Then my response will then be back on post #500 and we would miss everything or have to constantly re-read all posts to make sure that we didn't miss any response? Or am I not correct about this?? Again, sorrrrrrrrrry...
Edit:... I see. Hummm, I'll do my best to do it the right way, but I have a feeling that I will get lost in the shuffle... but I'll try VERY hard...
Edit: (at 5:06 Mountain time); Sorry J, I'll get this right... and (ha ha--please note the; Ha ha. I am about to make a nice funny... ) I don't want the bunny to hurt itself... sorry again... will try to get it right.

Well, that is a good point. But with respect to the Mods and people running this site, we were never really supposed to have a thread that goes like this in the first place, so we can either follow the rules or get the heck out. We have no choice if we want to be here we have to compromise! So still no double posting... no matter how smooth it may feel to do so. Now that we all know to go back and look, we can move on better and more efficiently.

Stringer... it's just like on this tread... if you miss a day, you might miss several pages - like I did just now -
So, we either check it every day and subscribe to posts of interest to get email notification.
And then, hope that some of us go back a few pages to make sure we did not miss anything of interest. At least that's what I do.
Does anyone else have a better suggestion?

Not really funny.

Look, this was not my decision but was brought to me to let you all know that it is taking up valuable server space. Without server space the site goes down more often. We wouldn't want that would we.
Looks like y'all are shooting the messenger.

Not shooting the messenger, as I fully understand. I am trying to explain how to do this to Stringer. J I respect and care about what happens to this site. So maybe I am just not good at explaining just how to do it right!

Chery HI!
Stringer it would be safe to say you can post in another "square" now... LOL
EDIT:::::
You just have to make sure others post after you so you don't double post. That is all there is to it! :)
