    Need for new air ducts with hi eff gas pack?
    I am installing a new hi efficiency gas pack HA/C system in a 45 year old brick rancher with conventional galvanized ductwork in the crawl space, returns uninsulated. Contractor says I also need all new flexible ducts, rather than added insulation to the returns. Is that necessary? Code requirement? Thanks

    You can insulate your old duct. Flex duct is a LOT easier to work with than sheet metal.

    Hello,

    Is 72 degrees air condition the same as 72 degrees heat? And does humidity have anything to do with it.

    with the same diameter, straigth air duct have friction: more air flow

    Straigth air duct have LESS friction:
