    Do you mean boiling salt-water? Salt boils at 1500 degrees Celsius.

    I think your question is "what effect does salt have on boiling water?' The addition of salt lowers the boiling point of water because the water is now less pure. Impurities also lower the freezing point of water; that is why the roads are salted in the winter. -Bob
